Most recently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Dionysus Digital Health, Sami built the operational infrastructure and commercial launch readiness plans for a Women's Health epigenetics diagnostic platform. His responsibilities included establishing go-to-market strategies, product development roadmaps, and managing all aspects of business operations from strategic planning to financial forecasting.

Prior to that, Sami held the position of Chief Commercial Officer at Biora. There, he led both the Women's Health and Gastrointestinal business units, overseeing the development and commercialization of a portfolio of molecular diagnostic tests and device/therapeutics combination products. He also successfully led the commercial development of innovative products such as the first multianalyte proteomics test for predicting Preeclampsia risk.  Prior to that, Sami held various leadership positions at Prometheus Laboratories, culminating in his role as Chief Operating Officer. He led all commercial and business operations including the development of strategic roadmaps and successfully launching multiple innovative and market disrupting diagnostic tests.

Sami's international experience includes a Global Commercial and Marketing Lead role at Nestlé Health Science in Switzerland, where he created strategic roadmaps and global launch strategies for the Gastrointestinal Health platform as well as drive the business planning for key corporate partnerships deals totaling over $1 billion in value.

Sami's commitment to innovation and entrepreneurship is evident in his involvement with organizations such as The Brink SBDC, where he serves as an Advisor to startups, and NuFund Venture Group, and Health Innovation Pitch, where he is a member and an investor. He has also contributed his expertise as a Lead Mentor for the Techstars Healthcare Accelerator, supporting emerging healthcare startups and currently sits on the board of directors for Kneevoice Inc.

Sami's educational background includes an MBA in marketing from the University of California, Irvine - The Paul Merage School of Business, a master’s degree in molecular biology from Penn State University, and a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences from the University of California, Davis. He has also earned a certification in Venture Capital from Columbia Business School, further enhancing his expertise in business strategy and investment. With his extensive experience, diverse skill set, and commitment to driving innovation in healthcare, Sami continues to be a valuable leader and strategist in the life sciences and healthcare industries.
